About
Myrl & Roy's Paving was founded by Myrl Unzelman and Roy Schultz, two hard working construction men that decided to take a chance and start their own paving company. That was in 1962. Now Myrl & Roy's Paving is the leading asphalt paving contractor in the Sioux Falls, SD metro area. Myrl & Roy's Paving continues to be locally owned and operated. The Myrl & Roy's Paving crews are comprised of well experienced and thoroughly trained operators and laborers that strive for the project owner's satisfaction. Myrl & Roy's Paving utilizes high quality quartzite, washed sand and gravel aggregates to produce asphalt mixtures suited for placement on highways, streets, parking lots and areas that need patching. A stationary asphalt plant with three heated silos is located in east Sioux Falls. A mobile asphalt plant is available for projects requiring asphalt mix supply on a temporary basis. Myrl & Roy's Paving also operates multiple base and grading crews for paving project removals and preparation. The truck fleet includes 30 plus end-dump trucks available to haul hot mix asphalt, side-dumps and belly-dump units for hauling aggregates. Myrl & Roy's Paving has the equipment to perform the work as it should be. Myrl & Roy's Paving was acquired by L. G. Everist, Inc in 2020.
