Jefferson Asphalt Products became a family-owned and operated company after Porter Thomas and his son John J. Thomas bought out the group of partners that founded the company back in 1968. Performing paving work and site-packages, we ventured into state highway work in the 1970s. We later expanded to include four asphalt plants, the largest two of which are still in operation.
